I’m Dinesh Vatvani. A 33 year old Data Scientist with a background in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Chemical Informatics from the University of Cambridge. I’m currently working as the head of Data Science at StatsBomb.

This blog is an outlet for various bits of analysis I have worked on for my own interest. A lot of it will probably be related to the Quantified Self movement, since it’s a rich topic and one I’m highly interested in, but it may also include other topics depending on what sparks my interest at the time of writing the articles.

Most analysis and scripting will be done using Python since that’s my weapon of choice against analytical problems.
